I bought this shoe for my daughter, in fact I bought this in two different sizes for both of my daughters. They have stayed together well despite the tough life that my daughter puts them through. They have been wiped clean, which works very well and thrown in the washer, which also works well. Despite this treatment along with my daughter's abnormal love of mud puddles these shoes look brand new. The silver color of the shoes match almost any outfit that she has. The buckle is a velcro buckle that continues to hold up and has not lost it's grip. My daughter's feet are also very narrow and we can tighten these up enough to fit her. So if you are looking for a great shoe that can be worn with a dress but still allow your princess to break comfortably into a run I would suggest these. Like I said she can wear them with dresses, leggins, jeans whatever and they always look good!
